Milwaukee – Garden-Fresh Foods will debut some new fall flavors and Grab and Go convenience foods at the 2016 International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association Dairy-Deli-Bake Seminar & Expo, June 5-7 in Houston, TX.
Appealing to people who crave sea-salted caramel, a unique European take on traditional coleslaw and the bold flavors of Morocco and Korea, the Milwaukee-based company plans to unveil:
* Banana Apple Salted Caramel Crunch: A rich, full-flavored dessert with sweet and tart notes accented with a dash of sea salt.
* European Carrot and Cranberry Slaw: A modern take on classic coleslaw that’s more than just a side dish.
* Moroccan Chick Pea Salad: World flavors come together to take your taste buds on a vacation along the Mediterranean Sea.
* Korean Kimchi: This sweet and spicy dish is an homage to the fermented delicacy from the Land of the Morning Calm.
“The American palate has changed,” said Garden-Fresh Foods Executive Chef Tom Sterle. “Customers are demanding bolder, worldly flavors, and Garden-Fresh Foods is prepared to deliver.”
Garden-Fresh Foods will also introduce its Grab and Go convenience foods at the IDDBA Expo, featuring 3.5 ounce servings of five of Garden-Fresh Foods classic American favorites.
