The new owners of Market Street Bread + Bagel want to put a messy split with former partners behind them and are continuing on with the city bakery located on one of downtown Wilmington's main thoroughfares.
Phil Petruccelli, a new partner in the 832 N. Market St. bakery run by his son Dominic Petruccelli, said Wednesday he would not discuss what led to the breakup of the business arrangement between his son and Bryan and Andrea Sikora, the owners of nearby La Fia restaurant.
"While we disagree with the statements that Bryan made, we will not get into the details of the separation," Phil Petruccelli said.
