Chiquita’s fresh produce and salad division, Fresh Express, has located its headquarters in the Windermere shopping center called The Grove, also home of Dexter’s and LA Fitness.
The company, which moved to Central Florida last year, still has job openings posted for the Orlando region on its website, for quality assurance, senior accountant and administrative support.
Fresh Express brought about 120 jobs here, while Chiquita’s U.S. banana business brought 90 jobs to Dania Beach near Fort Lauderdale. Several corporate Chiquita jobs moved to Orlando. Chiquita’s move to Florida was first reported in July.
