Philly To Be First Expansion City For Instacart, Asian Grocery Chain Partnership

Same-day delivery service Instacart has partnered with a national Asian-American supermarket chain to deliver more ethnic products to its customers, and Philadelphia will be the first expansion city.

San Francisco-based Instacart, which launched in Philadelphia in 2014, has partnered with grocery chain H Mart, so users of the delivery service will be able to get their favorite kimchi, curry and other ethnic foods delivered right to their doors.

The partnership starts this week in Philadelphia – the first expansion city. The H Mart is located near SEPTA's 69th Street Transportation Center in Upper Darby, Pa.
