MILLERSBURG – Guggisberg Cheese of Millersburg was recently named the world champion in the Swiss Cheese category at the World Championship Cheese Contest in Madison, Wisconsin.
The company also took second, fourth and fifth places in the Swiss category for separate entries. Guggisberg won the Swiss category in 2015 as well. Pearl Valley Cheese of Fresno placed third in the Swiss category and fourth in the Colby class.
