La Cañada Flintridge Calif. – The Allen Lund Company was pleased to work with TeamBonding, a private company that facilitates strategic events, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater San Diego to participate in a Charity Bike Build event, which was held February 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Estancia Hotel and Spa in La Jolla, CA. Representatives from Allen Lund Company worked in teams in order to build eight bikes, four girl and four boy, during the allotted time for the event. At the end of the event children were able to take their new bikes home.
"The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego have been a part of the community for over 75 years. We serve over 22,000 children at our 19 locations, in after school and day camp programs year round," stated Ruth Cassidy, Branch Manager Clairemont. "We change lives through quality programs and guidance in a safe, affordable and fun environment. The Boys & Girls Clubs believe that if our members have a strong foundation of academic success, learn to lead healthy lifestyles early on and develop good character and citizenship, they will become productive members of our society and be the leaders of future generations."
TeamBonding offers business and out-of-the-box team building events in which they provide all the materials, tools, and take care of the logistics needed for any event. Their purpose is to provide a fun atmosphere for participants, and to encourage a sense of camaraderie.
