Planning for the 2016 Louisiana Fisheries Forward Summit is in full swing, and there is still time to partner with us again this year. Summit attracts hundreds of commercial fishermen, seafood dealers, processors and others in the seafood industry, and this year’s event is sure to be better than ever at the Pontchartrain Center in Kenner on March 1, 2016.
Our format is changing to an expo style event-the trade show is open all day, and vendors will be able to better interact with participants. We have vendors and demonstrators already lined up to offer valuable information on quality handling, equipment and gear, safety, fisheries biology and the environment. We are also excited to offer a ‘foodie’ section to Summit with chef, value-added and seafood packaging demonstrations.
Summit is still a no-charge event for both participants and vendors; more details are available in the vendor brochure and flyer attached.
