In 2015, our Elaine Paige™ rose won the “Oscar for roses”, also called The Golden Rose of the Hague. We present our new range of roses and clematis for the very first time at IPM 2016. And who knows? Maybe one of these new introductions will have the potential to win an Oscar in a few years’ time.
The roses and clematis presented at IPM have over the past 5-8 years undergone very stringent quality controls to ensure that only the most hardy, healthy and beautiful varieties reach the marketplace.
In addition to their unique beauty, the new varieties have Long Decorative Value™, i.e. exceptional keeping quality in all links of the supply chain – from production to wholesalers and retailers as well as consumers.
The varieties can be grown both indoors and outdoors. The plants are all very healthy. They are green from the bottom to the top of the plant– with no yellow leaves. They have a wealth of blooms and flower non-stop which ensures that the plants are able to last for a long period of time with the retailer and still look good – as they will with the consumer.
Easy-to-grow and cost-efficient production
The new varieties have been developed to work in modern production facilities. It takes only 10-14 weeks from the delivery of young plants to flowering plants ready for sale.
Our roses and clematis have been selected for their ease of growing and for always growing into beautiful quality plants. They are also grown with 30% lower energy costs than other standard varieties.
We will certainly be seeing much more of these fantastic new introductions in the years to come.
