Rio Rico, AZ — MAS Melons & Grapes is embarking on specific commodity sales drives for their growing assortment of winter and spring crops to include shipping advisories, pricing and promotional trends, consumer tips and other educational tools. The sales drives will be centered on each new quarter, with the first one being asparagus.
"As we expand our product line, we wanted to communicate that we are much more than just melons and grapes. Starting with our winter asparagus and other vegetables, moving into spring fruit and then fall harvest items, we now offer near year-round programs." explains MAS Melons CEO Miguel Suarez. "This new quarterly sales drive provides timely information that helps keep our customers competitive."
This distributor is celebrating its 19th year in business in 2016, and has retained strategic and merchandising experts in both the U.S. and Mexico to help develop and implement an integrated program of sales materials, social media, advertising and merchandising education. Additionally, the program will showcase the best practices of MAS' Mexico grower partners AV Farms, Cosechas Agricolas, Grupo Carter and Grupo Ruy. MAS currently grows and ships asparagus, avocados, broccoli, cucumbers, grapes, melons and squash.
