Pots & Co, the luxury pudding maker that was launched as a rival to Gü Puds in 2008, has landed lucrative contracts with British Airways and Delta that will drive up revenues from £2.7m to £8m in a single year.
The Acton-based brand, which is stocked in Waitrose, Tesco, and Selfridges, is now available on all British Airways flights and the deal has helped the company to exceed its targets more than fivefold.
“I was aiming to sell 40,000 pots a week and we’re selling 210,000,” founder Julian Dyer, a former chef, said. “120,000 of those are sold on airlines in plastic pots.”
