LaPorte County, IN Health Dept. Recalls Cheese From Al's Supermarkets

LAPORTE — A food product sold at all of the Al's Supermarkets in LaPorte County is under a recall.

The LaPorte County Health Department imposed the recall on the Heston Supper Club-labeled cold pack cheese food, Horseradish. It's for the 16-ounce container that starts with the 3005 code number and expiration date of September 2016.

Pieces of plastic were found in the product sold at the stores in Michigan City and LaPorte from Oct. 27 to Dec. 22, officials said.
