The P.E.I. cabinet has given approval for Island Investment Development to advance a loan of $325,000 to P.E.I. Mussel King of Morell.
Government officials say it's a five-year term loan to help the company buy equipment for a new product line.
In addition, a five-year loan worth $125,000, has also been approved for P.E.I. Mussel Farms.
