Rosehips Without Thorns

Rosehips, a lovely addition to any arrangement, but those thorns. Incredibly hard and painful to come in close contact with. Luckily, growers are aware of this fact and therefore strive to offer their rosehip without thorns, either manually removed or grown without thorns. Nowadays, many different varieties have shown their faces on the market, but somehow not everyone knows how vast the variety of rosehips really is.

On Wednesday 21th October, the grower from Rose fruits came to J. van VLIET Bloemenexport to present his beautiful range of Rosehips without thorns. All the salesmen were gathered to enjoy this short presentation, talking about a normal year of a rosehip grower and his various products.

After growing Roses for a while, this grower thought it was time to do something else and started up his present company " Rose Fruits". With two nurseries in the Balkan and 20 acres, he offers many sizes and colours, stem lengths, waxed, sugared and dipped in various colours from September to December. His range also includes rosehip wreaths which are bound around straw wreaths in sizes 30/35/45 cm. They also bind King size wreaths, which generally contain 10.000 rosehips, taking 12 hours of work to finish.
