Regional Dairy Lifts Sales With Park City Group's Automated Ordering

SALT LAKE CITY – Park City Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCYG), a cloud-based software company that uses big data management to help retailers and their suppliers ‘Sell more, Stock less and See everything’, reports that a large, regional dairy using Park City Group’s Automated Ordering system to replenish a large, national retailer was able to increase year over year same store unit sales of dairy-milk by 2%.

The dairy uses Park City Group’s proprietary algorithm-based Automated Ordering system, which predicts future demand and re-ordering needs. The result is a smoother pattern of milk orders to meet consumer demand, keep in-store coolers stocked and backroom inventories to a minimum. In addition, the system reduces returns and labor costs for both the dairy and the retailer by not having to stock and then remove milk that has reached its code date.

“Sometimes the hardest thing for a supplier is to trust the order quantities generated by the system,” said Randy Fields, Chairman and CEO. “With accurate orders, both the supplier and retailer reap the benefits of needing less quantity on hand to increase sales.”
