SALINAS, Calif. – Mann Packing was named a Gold level award winner at the FY15 Sysco Supplier Excellence Awards.
Sysco’s Supplier Excellence Awards program highlights the commitment and support of the company’s suppliers – a key component of Sysco’s vision to become its customers most valued and trusted business partner.
Mann Packing was named a Gold level supplier for the produce category. The criteria for achieving this award includes objective criteria such as sales, margin and case growth, as well as subjective criteria such as sales support and category management engagement.
As part of the award, Mann CEO Lorri Koster and Gina Nucci, director of foodservice marketing, attended Sysco Corporation’s Supplier Recognition Event and Supplier Roundtable on Wednesday, Sept. 30, in Houston.
“We are honored that Sysco recognized Mann and our relationship with them,” Nucci said. “They are an important customer we look forward to further building a significant partnership together.”
There is only one Gold-level winner among the selective categories from Sysco. Mann Packing Company previously received Bronze-level supplier recognition and the Bronze-level Heritage Award for being a women owned business from Sysco.
