PALMETTO, FL – It is with great sadness that the Esformes Family announces the passing of Nathan J. Esformes at the age of 83 after an extended illness. Nathan was a 60 year veteran of the Produce Industry and a founding partner of Pacific Tomato Growers. Along with his brother Joseph and the Heller family he helped build Pacific Tomato Growers into one of the largest Agricultural firms in the U.S.
Nate's loyalty was legendary. Friends, Family and co-workers could always count on his advice, all one had to do was ask. Nate is survived by his wife Annie, brother Joseph and sister Flora, daughters Elizabeth and Tracy and son Jack along with his eight grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and their children. He will be sorely missed.
