Back in July, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 1599, the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act of 2015. This bill will prevent a costly and confusing state by state patchwork of GMO labeling regulations by passing a national law that provides uniformity in labeling standards across the country and ensuring that consumers can be 100% confident that the food they are eating is safe.
It is now time for the Senate to follow suit and support the house passed bill. Please take action today and urge the Senate to support the Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act.
