The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) issued a correction to the preamble of a proposed rule " Descriptive Designation for Needle- or Blade-Tenderized (Mechanically Tenderized) Beef Products " that subsequently became final earlier this year and affects the labeling requirements for raw or partially cooked needle- and blade-tenderized beef products, including beef products injected with a marinade or solution. The correction removes a clerical error that appeared in the Paperwork Reduction Act section of the preamble to proposed rule and was not included in the final rule.
