A dairy farm co-op with members all over New England and New York has moved one of its offices from Methuen to Andover.
Agri-Mark, best known for Cabot brand cheese and butter, is a membership organization made up of about 1,200 independent farmers. The staff travels all over the Northeast to visit plants and farms, meaning that the office needs to be centrally located.
“We have two big cheese plants in Vermont and one in upstate New York. Our farmers are from all these different states as well, so that’s why we need to be close to the highway, close to the airport and other transportation choices,” Doug DiMento, a spokesman for Agri-Mark, said.
