  • Kim V. of New Jersey
  • Mary E. of Ohio

"Each 'CEO' Finalist expresses passion for the brand and a love of Eggland's Best eggs any time of day – whether in a traditional breakfast dish or a savory dinner," says Charlie Lanktree, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are excited to see who consumers vote as their favorite 'CEO' and to reveal our next 'Chief Egg Officer.'"

Eggland's Best holds their farm fresh eggs to the highest standards to ensure they are fresher and contain higher levels of nutrients.  Due to their proprietary, all-vegetarian hen feed, Eggland's Best eggs contain 25 percent less saturated fat, four times more vitamin D and ten times more vitamin E than ordinary eggs.  In the spirit of these high standards, Eggland's Best is looking to find a "CEO" candidate that best exemplifies the brand and shows a true passion for Eggland's Best eggs, great taste, and nutritional benefits, just like current "CEO" Karen Petersen.

"It has been such an honor to work with Eggland's Best and represent not only a quality product, but a product that is healthy and beneficial in all aspects.  It's so wonderful to see that the three finalists share my enthusiasm for this great brand, and I'm egg-cited to see to whom I will be passing the torch!" says Karen Petersen, current Eggland's Best Chief Egg Officer.

The 2015 Eggland's Best "CEO" will be revealed on September 15, 2015. The Grand Prize winner will receive the honorary title of "Chief Egg Officer," a $5,000 cash prize, a nutrition consultation with the world-renowned registered dietitians Lyssie Lakatos and Tammy Lakatos Shames (The Nutrition Twins), as well as a year's supply of Eggland's Best eggs.
