SOUTH HAVEN, Mich. – Officials say a fruit processing and cold storage facility could bring up to 200 jobs to southwestern Michigan.
The Michigan Blueberry Growers Association in 2012 bought 42 acres in South Haven. The Herald-Palladium of St. Joseph reports (http://bit.ly/1KxjAHT ) the group, now called MBG Marketing, recently secured a utility incentive agreement worth up to $150,000.
The newspaper say MBG Marketing plans to sell part of the property and MBG, which does business as Naturipe, would have a processing facility.
