Prime Time International Introduces Five Lb. Boxes Of Peppers For Foodservice

Coachella, CA — Prime Time International recently began shipping five pounds boxes of peppers to restaurants and other food service customers. Prime Time introduced the five-pound box to satisfy the market’s growing demand. These five-pound boxes have distinct advantages for some customers. Often the twenty-five pound box is shipped to a distributor who then invests labor and materials to split this carton into individual five-pound boxes.

According to Jeff Taylor, Managing Member of Prime Time, "When this is done at source it represents a significant savings, plus reducing shrink, for the distributor and ultimately the end user,” Taylor explains. “We are now packing this five-pound box with red, yellow, or green peppers for an expanding list of our key customers."

Prime Time has received an enthusiastic response from several customers who are now buying them weekly. This special pack will be available throughout the year and will be available from all Prime Time shipping locations.

Photos are of choice grade product, which is preferred because of the value represented, but any size and grade can be special packed. For further information or to see a sample box, contact your Prime Time sales representative.
