The Global Cheese Technology Forum (GCTF) will return to the Peppermill Resort in Reno, Nevada, on October 26-28, 2015 for their 3rd biennial meeting.
This two-day event is an opportunity for those in the cheese and whey manufacturing industries to learn and discuss our role in today's global economy. It is designed to be a forum for discussing the latest technical information relevant to the cheese industry, provide information on current marketing issues related to cheese, as well as an opportunity to network with other stakeholders in the industry.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about new ideas and practices in cheese technology and applications, meet friends and colleagues, engage in panel discussions and be treated to a cheese and wine social.
"I find the GCTF to be a great opportunity to pick up the latest industry trends, research opportunities, and connect with everyone in the cheese industry," commented Eric Bastian, VP Research & Development at Glanbia Nutritionals.
The 2015 meeting will feature top tier speakers and presentations. Agenda highlights include an Industry Leader Panel Discussion on Cheese and Whey Challenges, a panel discussion regarding Developing the Next Generation of Dairy Scientists as well as topics focused on the following themes: Cheese Process Technology, Cheese Applications, Cheese Microbiology, Whey Processing and Applications, and Food Safety and Environmental Management.
