American Lamb Board Hosts Grilling Promotion With Giveaways Through August

DENVER  — Summer just got hotter with the American Lamb Board's popular Grills Gone Wild promotion, this year featuring a special "Brews, Ewes and BBQs" blogger battle and giveaways for lamb fans.

The American Lamb Board challenged nine talented food bloggers from across the country to develop their favorite grilled leg of lamb recipe and pair it with their craft beer of choice. From July 24 to August 21, consumers can win weekly prizes of American lamb and grilling essentials simply by visiting the Grills Gone Wild microsite to vote for their favorite "Brews, Ewes and BBQs" pairing. Winners will be randomly selected from weekly voter entries.

The "Brews, Ewes and BBQs" blogger pairings range from grilled lamb sandwiches served with a brown ale to chipotle barbecue lamb kabobs served with a pilsner.

"The bloggers' recipes are classic summertime staples, taken up a notch for grillers and brew fans who are seeking added inspiration," says Megan Wortman, executive director of the American Lamb Board.
