Target Corp. said Tuesday it has redesigned four of its Denver-area stores and one in Greeley as part of an ongoing national effort, increasing fresh-food selections in their grocery departments.
The store "reinventions" are intended "to further deliver one-stop shopping convenience for guests," the Minneapolis-based big-box retailer (NYSE: TGT) said in a statement.
The redesigns include new layouts in several store departments, including beauty, home, shoes and electronics.
In the reconfigured grocery departments, Target said it will now offer "90 percent of the categories found in a [stand-alone] grocery store, interactive displays and wider aisles to make guests shopping experience easier and more enjoyable."
