MILWAUKEE–On June 30th Roundy’s, Inc. (“Roundy’s”) (NYSE: RNDY), a leading grocer in the Midwest, opened its newest Mariano’s location in Glenview, Ill. The 32nd location for the banner will bring approximately 500 new jobs to the area.
Located at 2323 Capital Drive, the new store covers more than 90,000 square feet, providing shoppers with their beloved signature Mariano’s experiences including Oki Sushi, Todds BBQ and SQUEEZ’D. Additionally, the store will debut the banner’s first Vero coffee with on-site roasted coffee beans available for purchase.

Mariano’s Glenview West will also debut Mariano’s Signature Curation Center, which is designed to showcase artisanal products from around the globe. Each item is hand selected to educate shoppers and share the unique story of each purveyor, all who share Mariano’s passion for unforgettable food. The Curation Center’s products include specialty olive oil, granola, whiskey and more. The Center also features a demo station that allows purveyors to engage with shoppers, prepare special recipes, seminars and tastings. The store will also have a specialty cheese and charcuterie shop and VEG’D – a freshly-prepared food station dedicated to fresh vegetarian and vegan items – as well as many other unique shopping features to experience.

Mariano’s Glenview West will feature an array of foodie experiences fit for any lifestyle and unique store enhancements including:
- Vero featuring premium coffees with on-site, fresh-roasted coffee beans, as well as locally and homemade gelato prepared with traditional Italian techniques
- Cheese and Charcuterie with a variety of regional and international cheeses that can be cut-to-order and specially wrapped, along with an extensive selection of salumis, a hand pulled mozzarella station and an olive bar
- Todds BBQ offering daily smoked brisket, ribs, and more, all with a variety of sauces to fit shoppers’ tastes
- Oyster Bar features the freshest shucked oysters and specialty seafood dishes
- Bakery with artisan breads, pastries, cakes, donuts and rolls baked daily in-store, along with ethnic and Italian treats
- SQUEEZ’D smoothie bar showcasing a variety of made-to-order fruit and vegetable smoothies, plus Mariano’s signature fresh-squeezed orange and other fruit juices
- Full-service pharmacy with friendly and accessible pharmacists, immunization services, the Mariano’s Prescription Savings Club and the unique PharmaSmart Blood Pressure machine
To celebrate the opening of the new Mariano’s Glenview location, the Roundy’s Foundation will make a donation to JOURNEYS | The Road Home as part of its ongoing commitment to the communities it serves. JOURNEYS serves people from all walks of life and provides shelter and services to those who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless, throughout suburban Cook County.
Mariano’s Glenview West is open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
