McLEAN, Va. – To capitalize on the season for light and fresh meals, the National Fisheries Institute (NFI) Shrimp Council has launched an online initiative that encourages the enjoyment of shrimp and salad all summer with partner DeLallo, a leading Italian foods company.
The “Perfectly Paired” campaign harnesses the culinary creativity of some of America’s most-popular food bloggers, who are featuring healthy, unique dishes they’ve individually created utilizing shrimp and SaladSavors® salad toppings from DeLallo, a leading Italian foods company.
Sensational Salads with DeLallo and Shrimp
“We know summer is the season for fresh-food cravings. It’s the period when consumers are really on the lookout for new ways to incorporate flavorful salads into their diets,” said Judy Dashiell, Senior Vice President of NFI.

“Perfectly Paired” celebrates the start of summer and the foods that set it apart. For the campaign, the Shrimp Council’s blogger ambassadors were invited to pair shrimp with some of their favorite SaladSavors flavors, to create tasty recipes well-suited to the season. Through a combination of blog post readership and accompanying social media engagement, the online “Perfectly Paired” campaign in June alone has already garnered more than 6.7 million reader impressions.
