The convention was hosted by Koppert Cress located in Monster, Netherlands and one of the presentations was given by Rob Baan, an advocate for changing the way we look at fresh food and health (a link to his TED talk is below). The presentations varied from the significant health benefits of sulforaphane in the human diet, to the advantages of using probiotic cleaners in growing facilities to the latest collaborative efforts in the international industry regarding food safety and research on seed sanitization.
In addition to the excellent educational talks, the Jonathan’s Sprouts team was able to network and share best practices with growers from 12 different countries spread throughout the world.
