SEATTLE Kevin G. Fortun, founder of Stockpot Soups and Fortun Foods, has launched a new line of products, Fortuns Finishing Touch Sauces, designed to transform casual home cooking into restaurant-quality meals. The product line consists of twelve varieties of sauces simmered in small handcrafted batches with top quality, natural ingredients that turn simply-cooked meat, pasta and fish into gourmet, flavorful dishes.
Fortun, who made his name with Stockpot Soups, built his reputation on bringing top quality flavor and consistency of product to food service operators and families around the world. He brought Stockpot Soups to worldwide recognition with distribution in 23 countries, and sold it to the Campbell Soup Company in 1998 in a historically unmatched acquisition deal within the food industry. After taking several years off from the consumer product industry, Fortun gathered many members of his original Stockpot Soups team to create Fortuns Finishing Touch Sauces. Exotic flavors, fresh ingredients and chef-developed recipes ensure that the full-flavored Fortuns Finishing Touch Sauces maintain the high standards expected to accompany the Fortun name, while providing a time-saving solution for busy consumers who crave great flavor and fresh ingredients.
Cooking gourmet foods can be expensive and time consuming, so we wanted to create a product that would help anyone cooking at home serve a restaurant-quality meal quickly, said Kevin Fortun, founder of Fortuns Finishing Touch Sauces. The trend toward healthy living coupled with time-pressed busy lifestyles contributes significantly toward the growing demand for products like our sauces.
Fortuns Finishing Touch Sauces are easy to use; simply heat to a simmer and pour over cooked meat, fish, poultry or pasta. The twelve varieties showcase flavors from across the globe, taking families on a dinnertime journey through the cuisine of the southern United States, the Mediterranean, India, Russia, Asia, France and Spain.
The product line consists of twelve finishing sauces:
