Glen Allen, VA – Legacy Foodservice Alliance announces the promotion of Amy Wood to Director of Merchandising, where she will manage Supplier Member relations.
In announcing her promotion, COO Don Hughes stated: “Amy possesses strong negotiation, organizational and communication skills along with an unwavering commitment to customer service that ensures Legacy Distributor and Supplier Members alike are well served.”
Amy has over a decade of experience in the foodservice industry. Prior to joining Legacy in 2009 when it was just a few weeks old, Ms. Wood began with Pocahontas Foods USA in 2001 and its successor Progressive Group Alliance in category management.
Ms. Wood is instrumental in the planning, selling and execution of Legacy’s semiannual Marketplaces and amongst her other duties, is actively coordinating Legacy’s Fall Marketplace which will be held September 28-30, 2015 at the historic Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
