My two indicators that spring has arrived are blooming daffodils and forsythia. Well the early daffodils popped in my garden last week and the forsythia were in bloom by the weekend. So I'm in, yea spring! If spring hasn't already arrived in your area, I hope it makes an appearance soon!
Honey bees have been much in the news, with good reason. Bees are responsible for one out of three bites of food we eat. No bees means no blueberries, almonds, chocolate and even beer!
While honey bees are important for commercial production, they aren't the whole picture. Native bees (honey bees aren't native to North America) are an important part of the picture and you can help support native bee populations. Help increase public awareness about native bees and raise these gentle bees in your backyard. Crown Bees will show you how.
