Give The Underrated Cyclamen Its Fair Bloom

I thought, “Why not? It’s the perfect time of year to write about a plant that
is lively and so vivid in the home dcor.”

Barbara commented, “I was recently given a gift of a Cyclamen and it’s such a
beautiful plant, with deep purplish-red flowers and variegated green leaves. The
leaves alone are so lovely, but the flowers just sent them off brilliantly. It
makes a warm, lively addition to any room. While we often think of poinsettias
as the winter blooming plant for indoors, Cyclamen make a lovely indoor blooming
plant during the winter months too. They really are the reminder that spring is
not far away. Not all is dormant in winter.”

It’s February and most of us think of Valentine’s Day and red roses. But it can
also be a time for something of a departure and a plant that’s delightfully
daring. Try a Cyclamen plant for a change.
