Kennicott Brothers Co. Announces Acquisition, Branch Merger

Kennicott Acquires Import Connection

Kennicott has acquired the operating assets of Import Connection of Royal Oak, Michigan. The operations will be merged into our Nordlie Detroit location in Warren, Michigan.

Import Connection was founded in 1986 by Terry Leeser and Mark Naimy, working out of a garage. Since then, they have grown their business to become a major wholesale house in the Michigan market.

Tom Figueroa, Manager at the Nordlie Detroit/Warren location says, “Import Connection is a good fit for our business. We share some customers, and we look forward to working together with members of their talented staff to provide better service to all.”

Kennicott Aurora (IL) to Merge with Kennicott Elk Grove (IL) and Alsip (IL) Locations

Kennicott Brothers Company will merge its Aurora operation with their Elk Grove Village and Alsip locations, effective Friday, March 27, 2015.  The Aurora location will be closed permanently.

Our Elk Grove Village branch will service Aurora’s territory north of I-88, while our Alsip location will handle the territory south of I-88.

The Kennicott Aurora sales team will work hard to ensure a smooth transition and then, from Alsip and Elk Grove, continue the strong relationships that have been forged with our loyal customers over the years.
