The head of Kroger’s Columbus division is retiring after more than 40 years with the company.
As a student at Ohio State University in 1973, Bruce Macaulay got his first job at Kroger as a part-time clerk at the Berwick Plaza store in Columbus. Macaulay rose through the corporate ranks and became president of the 123-store Columbus division in 2008.
His last day in charge will be March 27.
