Venus Wafers Appoints Midwest Regional Sales Manager

HINGHAM, MA – Venus Wafers has hired Tim Kint as Regional Sales Manager, Midwest USA.

“We needed an experienced market developer for our Mariner crackers, and we found one in Tim,” said James Anderko, National Sales Manager of Venus Wafers. “Consumers have responded well to our new Non-GMO crackers, and we know there is great potential for additional growth. Having spent over 20 years selling and managing a variety of specialty foods throughout the Midwest United States, Tim brings unique and valuable insights to both Venus and our customers.”

Prior to joining Venus Wafers, Mr. Kint was a business manager for Swiss Colony. His sales experience also encompasses sales positions at Green County Foods and management position at Shopko.

Since 1931, family-owned and operated Venus Wafers has pioneered healthful crackers and flatbreads to meet the changing tastes of convenience-driven consumers. Venus Wafers launched its Non-GMO verified crackers under their The Original Mariner Biscuit Company brand in 2012. The Non-GMO Project offers North America’s independent verification for products made according to best practices for GMO avoidance.

The Mariner Biscuit Company now includes Water crackers, Stoned Wheat crackers, New Organic Flatbreads and Sprouted Grains crackers. The Mariner items also been verified Vegan by the Vegan Action/Vegan Awareness Foundation and certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union. The Mariner packaging carries both of these symbols as well.
