Now that the new strategy FloraHolland 2020 is set, we have arrived at the start of a new period. Our course is set, and now we have to take the first steps in implementing it. A strategy is a plan to get somewhere, which can easily be divided into stages.
We envision five stages to start with. These are programme points that FloraHolland wants to undertake first. Lucas Vos discusses each of the five programmes below.
Improving Together with everyone facing forward
"The staff programme Improving Together is needed to ensure that all internal employees are united in pursuing the same goals. FloraHolland 2020 provides a clear framework, a path to follow. But the company has not been working in an equally clear manner. There is a lack of unity and process-oriented thinking. The focus does not lie sufficiently on the customer. The aim of Improving Together is to create this direct approach. One theory, one set of means and utilising the brainpower of all three thousand employees.
