MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) welcomes Kirk Scott to the organization as Director, Retail Programs, where he will manage and implement WMMB’s retail cheese and dairy programs.
Scott joins WMMB with nearly 25 years of experience in consumer insights, marketing and brand management, most recently serving as Director of Retail Marketing at Grande Cheese Company in Lomira, Wisconsin. He has also held roles in marketing and brand management at Kraft Foods, Rayovac, Careerbuilder.com and The Mark Travel Corporation.
"Kirk’s extensive experience building and marketing large, national brands will be a key asset to the growing success of our retails programs for Wisconsin cheese and dairy products across the country," said Marty Pullin, Senior Vice President of Channel Management at WMMB.
Scott holds a Master of Business Administration in marketing and consumer behavior from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. He also holds two bachelor’s degrees in plant and soil science as well as agriculture from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. He resides in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is based in WMMB's Madison office.
The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board is a nonprofit organization of dairy producers that promotes the consumption of milk, cheese and other dairy products made in America’s Dairyland.
