Weis Announces Price Freezes

SUNBURY – Weis Markets announced Thursday the launch of its 12th round of price freezes, effective in all 163 stores. More than 2,000 products have been reduced in price and will remain at these discounted levels for 90 days.

Since the company began its price freeze initiative six years ago, Weis customers have saved more than $50 million dollars. The current program began Jan. 4 and runs through April 5.

"We first launched the Price Freeze program in 2009 as a way to help our customers lock in savings on many of the grocery and household products they use everyday," said Brian Holt, Weis Markets' vice president of advertising and marketing. "Since then, the program has proven extremely effective, providing shoppers with consistent savings on the products they value."
