Phoenix-based Sprouts Farmers Market will open its first Alabama grocery stores early this year in Huntsville and Birmingham.
The fresh, natural and organic food grocer will launch a Birmingham store Feb. 18 on 5291 Highway 280, Unit 130, which is in Brook Highland Plaza. The Huntsville location will open March 18 on 7504 U.S. 72 West N.W. March 18 in the new Strong Station retail development.
Each Alabama store will employ approximately 100 workers. Sprouts, which has more than 17,000 team members across the U.S., operates more than 180 stores in 10 states.
