FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Natural Grocers plans to stop selling yogurt from another Colorado-based company, Noosa, as it switches to pastured-based dairy products.
Last spring, Lakewood-based Natural Grocers announced that it would phase out milk and other dairy products from cows that don't spend at least 120 days a year grazing outdoors on grass, the standard for organic products.
Natural Grocers executive vice president Heather Isely said she is sad to see Bellvue-based Noosa go, along with brands including Chobani, Siggi's Brown Cow, but she hopes it will be able to return to the chain's shelves someday, the Fort Collins Coloradoan (http://noconow.co/1wKVV43) reported Friday.
