To-Jo Mushrooms Donates Funds To Assumption BVM School

West Grove, Pennsylvania – To-Jo Mushrooms is pleased announce a recent donation of $33,000 to the Pennsylvania Foundation for Catholic Education in support of  the Assumption BVM School in West Grove, PA.  To-Jo participated in the Pennsylvania EITC program and has earmarked its 2014 contribution towards tuition assistance at the Assumption BVM School.

The entire student body and school administration were in attendance to accept the donation from To-Jo owners Tony and Joe D’Amico. These monies will be used to fund Assumption BVM School’s tuition assistance program through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.

The EITC program provides Pennsylvania businesses the opportunity to use a portion of their tax dollars to support Catholic schools. Supporting EITC efforts, the Foundation for Catholic Education helps to provide families access to a Catholic education.

“When the opportunity to support education in the community through a great program like the EITC was brought to our attention, we jumped right on board.   I hope other businesses in the Pennsylvania community will see the benefit of participating in this innovative approach to giving.”  Said Tony D’Amico, President To-Jo Mushrooms.
