Sparta, Mich. – Capping a months-long overhaul, Riveridge Produce has re-launched its web presence with a multi-media site.
“We have taken an entirely new tack with our website, blending our updated brand image with our “Experience Matters” ad campaign and integrating short videos to best tell the Riveridge story,” said Don Armock, president of Riveridge Produce Marketing, Inc. “We’ve also re-organized our menu buttons around areas of use to better serve our buyers.”
“Some of our favorite spots on the website are our “photo album” that features a few of our 100-plus apple growing families, their histories and innovations,” Armock said. “We’re also fond of our illustrated apple variety section with immediate links by variety to UPC, PLU and GS1 codes, availability and usage charts, followed by beautifully-photographed recipes for that apple variety, which were shared with us by the Michigan Apple Committee.”
The new website platform will be searchable by Google key words and has social media interface, including links to Riveridge’s Twitter feed and You Tube channel. It serves as a landing spot for the QR codes on various Riveridge apple packages and new clamshell and juicing products.
The site includes profiles of all seven Riveridge packing houses across West Michigan and Wisconsin, including notes on their proximity to local orchards, key varieties packed and photos of the facilities and partners.
“We’ll continue to add information and expand the site, particularly with an eye to market intelligence and retail display tips,” Armock said.
