"The Global Table" is a weekly column that explores the international side of Greater Cincinnati dining. Follow WCPO contributor, Grace Yek, as she talks to the chefs and owners of these dining spots about their food, culture and journey to Greater Cincinnati. This week, we visit with Eduardo Rodriguez of My Artisano Foods.
In a quiet, freestanding building in the heart of Sharonville, a master artisan cheesemaker is hard at work. Eduardo Rodriguez specializes in Latin American artisanal fresh cheeses. This cozy yellow and green building is both a cheesemaking facility and storefront.
Rodriguez is particular about his ingredients. He makes his fresh cheeses with local milk that’s antibiotic and hormone-free, natural cultures and probiotics, vegetarian rennet (an enzyme) and sea salt.
