L&M Hires Josh Tunstall, Opens New Office

During a Grand Opening event on the evening of Friday, January 15th, L&M (www.lmcompanies.com) hosted over 120 visitors to its new office in Union Gap, Washington, as well as welcomed new employee Josh Tunstall to the L&M team.
Growers, customers and employees alike enjoyed great food and drinks in L&Ms new office. The company moved its Washington headquarters from Selah on November 15th. Rich Gonzales, General Manager of L&Ms Washington operation said, We are pleased that so many people could stop by and see our new office, relax and have a good time. Even though we have an improved website with contacts and bios, in some cases it gave our partners a chance to put faces with names or just re-connect. Weve been in business for over 45 years and after nine years in our previous office and 11 years of being based here in Washington, our new space is what we need to help us continue focusing on serving our growers and customers as experts in the apple, pear and cherry business. The space allows us continue to expand services and positions and the improved infrastructure here is the perfect setting to position for future growth. Although the office is nice, the bigger changes are yet to come as we align ourselves with premier growers and shippers who understand the value of getting our customers the right product, at the right price, every time.

During the event, L&M also welcomed Josh Tunstall to the sales team. Josh comes from a long line of proven salesmen, with his father having over 30 years of experience in the business. His apple and cherry expertise, as well as his export experience, adds to L&Ms strong Washington team. He has been in the Washington fruit industry for several years, working intensely in the orchards and sheds to find the fruit a home on retail shelves. Josh started his career as a Sales Assistant moving his way up to Account Manager. He specializes in retail, wholesale and export services and will help oversee the Cherry Program. Joshs every day goal is to make sure both our customers and growers get serviced at levels that our competitors cannot match. He is a quick study with new ideas and a passion for the business; equally as important is that he works with the highest level of integrity. We are proud he chose to be part of the L&M Family. said Gonzales.
