White Plains, New York – The makers of Dannon® Oikos®* and Stonyfield Organic yogurts have teamed up with TV Chef Michael Symon to announce today the official hunt for the next two Everyday Chefs on BetterWithYogurt.com.* The new website serves as a source of inspiration for all types of chefs looking for ways to mix up their routines and learn to cook with yogurt every day.
“BetterWithYogurt.com is different from other recipe sites because it is focused on cooking with one of the most versatile ingredients there is,” said Michael Symon. “I’ve cooked with yogurt since I was a kid, and it’s such a delicious ingredient. This site shows the many ways we can use yogurt as an ingredient in a huge variety of different types of dishes.”
BetterWithYogurt.com features everything from recipes based on your mood to Symon’s personal cooking secrets and also gives people the chance to win $25,000 and be named one of the next two Everyday Chefs. Entrants simply create a recipe with their favorite yogurt, give it a name, and submit it with a picture and their inspiration. Symon will select 10 finalists who will be featured on the site, and visitors will determine the two winners.
Featuring several user-friendly tools like the “Easy Meter” which ranks recipes based on difficulty, the website is an important part of Dannon and Stonyfield’s mission to encourage Americans to incorporate yogurt into their daily routines.
