SAGINAW, MI — About a week after heavy rain caused its roof to collapse, Saginaw's Spatz's Bakery is back in business.
The bakery, located at 1120 State, reopened Monday, Aug. 18.
"We came in at 5 o'clock this morning and started baking bread," said General Manager Marcia Mattfeld, noting that employees were there Sunday, Aug. 17, for final clean up and to check that equipment was functioning properly.
