Chestnut Valley Charcuterie and Chestnut Valley Artisanal Sausage labels, under a recently expired licensing agreement, are earmarked for newfound glory.
The Chestnut Valley brand is now available to retailers as an alternative to Aux Dé-lices des Bois. The distinction between the two brands? Same recipes, different raw material sources. Chestnut Valley charcuterie and fresh sausage will continue to be produced with antibiotic free meat (pork and poultry).*
Aux Délices des Bois, a 27-year old brand, will focus on a clean profile, using non-ABF pork, to produce the same distinctively delightful sausages.
“We’ve been working on this project since the porcine plague kicked in,” enthuses Thierry Farges, President. Up to this point, TFI has only produced Antibiotic-Free meat products.
“With the tidal wave of pork increases this year, customers are cutting back on claims requirements in exchange for clean meat, that is not certified ABF.” We’re happy to offer customers the option of ABF or non-ABF.
*Other claims are Certified Humanely Raised, Vegetarian Fed, No Added Hormones, No Artificial Nitrites or Nitrates.
