Ready Pac Welcomes New Plant Director For California Facility

Irwindale, Calif. – Ready Pac Foods Inc. is pleased to announce Michael Ervin as their Plant Director of the company’s Irwindale, California facility.  As Plant Director, Michael will oversee the operational performance, strategic initiatives and manage site growth by partnering with on-site functional leadership.  Working to engage over 1,000 Ready Pac Associates, Michael’s focus will be to maintain seamless operational success within Ready Pac’s manufacturing site and distribution process.  Ervin will report directly to Peter Laport, Chief Supply Chain Officer for Ready Pac.

Michael comes to Ready Pac from Marietta Corporation, where he strengthened his strong leadership skills as General Manager, managing the oversight of the facility and business.  Preceding Marietta, Michael held the title of Vice President of Operations for Adam Nutrition. He progressed from Director of Quality Assurance and management roles within some of the country’s premiere companies, including the United States Department of Agriculture, Johnson & Johnson Consumer, Kraft Foods and Coca-Cola Enterprises. 

Michael graduated from Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering, Technology and Business.
