Nearly 200 Bristol workers could soon be without a job.
Lakeview Farms, 19241 83rd St., recently announced the decision to close its local food processing plant and relocate to a new facility near its current headquarters in Delphos, Ohio, according to a company press release.
“It’s never an easy decision to move jobs when you know it’s going to impact people’s quality of life,” Lakeview president Gene Graves said. “Their well-being and the well-being of their families is of paramount importance to us. They will be taken care of.”
The company will begin eliminating jobs this summer and shut down the facility in January.
