“Peggy Tucker’s excitement about DECOgel is contagious and we have her to thank for its overwhelming success in the cake decorating industry.” – Deborah Coughlin, Icing Images owner.

Theresa Parkin will teach students how to create and cut images using the Silhouette Cameo and Premium Icing Sheets on May 21 at Cavalier Cakes, Victoria, B.C.

The following weekend, May 28, Parkin will offer a class in DECOgel to show students how to mold the medium for cake and cupcake decorations.

In June, Parkin will teach a class with the Sweet Accents system on June 4 and an edible image printing class to make a cake topper on June 11.

DECOgel is Icing Images’ latest product; a gelatin-based cake decorating medium that is melted and poured into molds or on surfaces and then cut to create flexible cake designs. DECOgel has a glass-like appearance like Isomalt, but a lower melting point, making it less likely to cause the burning associated with working with Isomalt.

Icing Images has been a leading distributor of edible photo and edible paper art supplies for over a decade, offering edible ink printers, edible ink, icing sheets, electronic and manual die cutters, and DECOgel to retail bakeries, home bakers and cake decorators.
